Fuel delivery software buyer’s guideTank Wagon
FastDragon Tank Wagon is delivery software for jobbers whose own trucks carry their own fuel. It keeps the stock and cost in every compartment, sells each gallon at the pour, and closes the day with every delivery BOL and invoice approved and sent. One truck runs commercial routes, wet hose fleets and home heating oil.

The run, the inventory behind it, and the end of the day.
A run opens with what is on the truck, compartment by compartment, against what the day’s drops need. The terminal pickup is a stop on the map like any other. When the drops need more of a product than the truck holds, the run says how short it is and offers a pickup. Reorder the stops by dragging the list or tapping the map pins, and every stop gets a drive time and an arrival time.

A drop takes its gallons out of the compartment they came from, at that product’s cost on that truck, and the invoice carries the same figure, so cost of goods posts with every sale. Inventory shows what was on hand on any date, every move with its running gallons, value and average, and the valuation beside your inventory account.

The office reviews each drop at the end of the day. Approve one or approve all, then email the delivery BOLs and invoices one at a time or all at once. Only approved drops go out, and an edit after approval sends the drop back for another look.

Fuel delivery software buyer’s guideA ticket line for every unit fuelled, scanned from its QR label, with the odometer or hour meter. A fill bigger than the unit’s tank is flagged. Fleet customers get gallons by unit and department in their portal.
Wet hose fueling software guideDegree-day forecasts with a K-factor learned at every fill, a morning due list for automatic customers, will-call minimums, budget plans, prebuy and price cap plans, and energy assistance billed to the agency.
Heating oil delivery software guideEach generator is an asset with its product, capacity and low-level threshold. A tank monitor reading or a driver’s reading under the threshold alerts the people you name.
FastDragon HaulingDyed diesel rides in its own compartment and prints the nontaxable-use notice on every ticket. Exempt sites are invoiced without the tax, with the reason kept on the site.
Tank truck compartments explainedDEF stays out of diesel compartments. Totes carry rent and deposits, empties are counted at every stop, and the paperwork names the manufacturer and brand.
DEF delivery softwareFastDragon Tank Wagon is fuel delivery software for a jobber or marketer whose own trucks carry its own fuel and DEF. It keeps the stock and cost in every compartment of every truck, relieves the stock at each pour, invoices the drop with its cost of goods, and closes the day with the delivery BOLs and invoices approved and sent. It runs on the same customers, orders, invoices and ledger as the rest of FastDragon.
Fuel jobbers, petroleum marketers and DEF distributors running small trucks into many customers’ tanks: commercial tank wagon routes, wet hose fleets at night, home heating oil, farms, job sites and generators. One truck is enough to start, and a truck and trailer load as one rig.
Hauling runs the trucks: the dispatch board, the driver app, GPS, the delivery ticket and the invoice at the drop. Tank Wagon adds the fuel on the truck as inventory: gallons and cost in every compartment, stock relieved at each pour, inventory screens, transfers, the end-of-day count, and approve-then-send. With Tank Wagon on, the Hauling tab reads Tank Wagon.
Moving weighted average by default: each load at the rack updates the average cost of that product on that truck, and each drop leaves at that average. FIFO is available from any 1 January. Until the supplier bill arrives, the load is costed from the price on the load or the day’s rack, and the real bill replaces the estimate when it lands.
Yes. FastDragon forecasts each heating tank from daily heating degree days at the nearest weather station and the tank’s K-factor, which it relearns at every fill. Automatic customers come up on a due list each morning and the dispatcher picks the runs. Will-call minimums, small-delivery fees, budget plans, prebuy and price cap plans, energy assistance billing and residential heating fuel tax are all handled.
Yes. Each vehicle or machine is an asset with a QR label, a product and a tank capacity. The driver scans it, records the gallons and the odometer or hour meter, and a fill bigger than the tank is flagged. A site marked unattended asks for no signature and keeps the photo, time and GPS position instead. Fleet customers see gallons by unit and department in their portal and by email each month.
FastDragon figures sales tax from the delivery site’s rate. A customer with a resale or exemption certificate on file is invoiced without it, and the certificate, its number and a photo of it are kept on the customer.
